Unlike self-help, it offers an outside perspective, challenges limiting beliefs, and helps you create actionable steps tailored to your unique needs.
I recommend you: Start small—focus on consistency rather than intensity. Use the "2-Minute Rule" (make the habit so easy you can't say no) and pair it with an existing habit (habit stacking). Track progress, celebrate small wins, and be patient. We will find it together what suits you the best.
Meditation will increases your self-awareness, reduces stress, and strengthens willpower—key factors in breaking bad habits and forming new ones. By practicing mindfulness, you become more intentional with your actions and less reactive to cravings or distractions.
Did you set a realistic goal? Common reasons include setting unrealistic goals, relying on motivation alone, or not addressing underlying beliefs. Instead, focus on small, sustainable changes, design your environment for success, and identify emotional triggers that lead to setbacks.
Even 5–10 minutes daily can create noticeable benefits (reduced stress, better focus). Consistency matters more than duration—start with a manageable routine and gradually increase if desired. Everyone has her / his own speed and duration. Just practice and experiment a bit.

Born in the north of Germany and lived many years there Thomas wanted to improve his English in his early years. He went to England which changed his entire life. For a quarter of a century, he has been working in engineering and product development within the automation industry across the globe. Now, he has spent almost nine years in China, where he found his true second home and lead an RD team with 400+ Engineers.

His first significant habit change started with 17. The Berlin Wall got huge holes (year 1989) and his weight a huge problem. It was about to head three digits in Kilogram. He was smoking almost a pack of cigarettes each day and was not able to do jogging for longer than 200 meters. He does not remember why, but one evening in winter he started with jogging.
In the following weeks Thomas lost 25 Kg within 9 weeks. Furthermore since that days he value every single day with sports and living without the smoking "coffin nails".
